Tit For Tat

A day after a bunch of Hamas terrorists were blown up by explosives in Gaza and Hamas responded by rounding up a bunch of Fatah terrorists, it's curious that Fatah has returned the favor, by rounding up a bunch of Hamas terrorists in the West Bank. At least 35 were rounded up by Fatah this time.

Coincidence? I think not.

This is how Fatah and Hamas talk to each other. They "arrest" members of the other terror group and make demands. Sometimes, those "arrested" members get released in short order. Other times, they're released off the rooftop of a tall building or otherwise die in custody.

Hamas, when not fighting Israel or Fatah, is busy trying to exert control over Gaza by thwarting rival terrorist groups as well. They're busy fighting with an al Qaeda aligned group, but that's only because Hamas wants Gaza for itself and doesn't want to share with another Islamist group.

At the same time, Egypt is trying to once again attempt to reconcile Hamas and Fatah over their control of the Palestinian Authority.
