Hamas is busy manufacturing a crisis in Gaza, once again using its standard playbook.
They've once again claimed that Israel is embargoing power from Gaza, forcing a shutdown of the power in the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza power station supplies 30% of the power to Gaza, while 70% comes from Israeli power stations. Yet, Hamas has shut down 70% of the lights in Gaza, while keeping Hamas thugs' homes well lit.
The media and the UN again call for Israel to end its blockade, even as Egypt continues theirs. Does no one pay attention to the map and see that Egypt has a border with Israel and that Egypt wants nothing to do with Gaza either? Israel provides most of Gaza's energy and most of the humanitarian aid flows from Israel into Gaza, despite Hamas' declarations that it seeks nothing less than Israel's destruction. The UN continues to demand that Israel provide its mortal enemies with the means to continue their fight against Israel. Does anyone at the UN bother to note the steady stream of kassams and mortars fired into Israel?
The Palestinians knows that the media will willingly lap up their propaganda, so they're hoping that no one will question the Palestinian Authority's latest efforts. The PA will begin publishing ads highlighting the steps they've taken towards a peace deal. Left out of those ads - any mention of the triangle offense used by the terrorists of Hamas, Fatah, and Islamic Jihad to attack Israel while claiming plausible deniability and demanding further concessions from Israel.
Meanwhile, Israel sent tanks into Gaza to deal with the ongoing threat from terrorists attempting to plant bombs along the Gaza-Israel border, and were met with mortar attacks.
I'm sure the next step is for Hamas to carry out "meetings" by candlelight, although they might take more care this time to do so at night, rather than forgetting to shut the window shades as they did the last time.
