Here They Go Again

Hamas and their media mavens are busy letting everyone know that they're about to flick off the power switches. They are busy complaining that their energy reserves are going low and that blackouts are imminent.

Well, here's a news flash. Maybe if Hamas stopped trying to blow up the Israeli facilities that supply them with fuel and electricity, they'd have an uninterrupted flow of power and fuel.
Jamal al-Khoudary, chairman of the Stop the Siege on Gaza Campaign warned that the systems have been on the verge of total collapse due to the lack of diesel during the last 13 days, since the terror attack on the fuel terminal at Nahal Oz, during which two Israeli citizens were killed, and which caused the government to stop the transfer of fuel to the Strip.

According to Khoudary, the lack of fuel supply has paralyzed daily life in Gaza, bringing 90% of private and public transportation to a grinding halt.

On Tuesday the Palestinian parliament members in Gaza began a hunger strike, in protest of the siege on the Strip. In addition, Gaza's power station, which supplies half of Gaza City's electricity and one third of the electricity used by the entire Gaza Strip, is scheduled to stop working Wednesday due to the fuel shortage.
The Hamas thugs are going on a hunger strike? Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

Hamas is gaming the entire system to manufacture yet another crisis, despite the fact that they attempted five separate attacks against the Israeli border with Gaza, resulting in numerous wounded Israeli soldiers. That doesn't count the terrorist operation against the Israeli fuel depot that killed two Israelis.

Of course, it also harkens back to the last manufactured crisis:

That time, the Hamas thugs rounded up their favorite lackeys in the media and made them take photos of the Hamas thugs meeting in a darkened room. Of course, it was daylight outside and the light was streaming in from every window despite the drawn curtains and from every door. No doubt that they'll try to do better this time.
