Two Arrests Made In Lesniak Robbery

Police have arrested two men in connection with the burglary of NJ State Senator Robert Lesniak.
Twenty-six-year-old Brian Kinney and 41-year-old Antoine Neal, both of Elizabeth, are charged with burglary, theft and making terroristic threats.

Lesniak said he was robbed early Saturday by two men who broke into his home while he slept.

The 62-year-old Lesniak said the men took cash, his BlackBerry and the keys to his Lexus.

Elizabeth police say Kinney was already in custody after being arrested for a separate burglary Sunday night and Neal was arrested Monday after police searched his home.
So, what we have here is at least one guy who was a serial thief (Kinney).

The arrests still do not fully explain how and why Lesniak didn't call on neighbors to call for police. In fact, that delay may have allowed Kinney to carry out another robbery.
