Mrs. Lawhawk had been wondering about this after watching news reports the past few days relating to the flooding in New York and New Jersey. If you look at the reporting about the Nor'easter and the damage done to New Jersey and New York, you too would wonder where New Jersey representatives are in pressing for federal aid to assist those who were flooded out by the Nor'easter.
New York's Senators Schumer and Clinton have been all over the airways. Governor Spitzer has also called for parts of New York to be declared disaster areas.
In contrast, the only voice being heard from New Jersey politicians is Gov. Codey. Where are the state's two senators? Are Lautenberg and Menendez too busy with other business to tour the disaster areas with media in tow and call for federal aid to flow? Where are the members of the House touring the area?
