The Conundrum, Part 24

Where have we seen and heard this before. Israel withdrew from South Lebanon in 2000, and Hizbullah promptly turned the area into Hizbullahland, complete with underground bunkers and weapons caches in preparation for a conflict with Israel of its time and place of choosing. The Palestinian terrorists are doing the same in Gaza.
Palestinian militants are constructing an "underground city" in the Gaza Strip to store weapons and attack Israeli forces in the future, army chief of staff Dan Halutz has been quoted as saying.

"The Palestinians are continuing digging an underground city in the Gaza Strip," said Halutz, who appeared before the parliament's foreign affairs and defence committee on Tuesday.
More than 100 tunnel entrances have been uncovered by Israeli forces operating in Rafah. Will the outcome be any different? Will Halutz and Olmert take the decisive action to put an end to the ongoing violence between the Hamas and Fatah terrorists and the Israelis? Rockets continue to rain down on Israel daily, and yet no one appears to think that there's anything out of the ordinary about such a situation. Well apparently some Sderot residents are upset about this - after all, Sderot is the Palestinian terrorists' favorite target these days.

The BBC is busy trying to surpress a report showing that the network is biased against Israel (yes, I know, what a surprise).

A Palestinian terrorist confessed to being involved in a 2004 attack that resulted in one Israeli killed, and also confessed that he participated in kassam rocket launches against Israel.

Meanwhile, Palestinian terrorists took an AP photographer hostage. No word on who took him, or their demands, but I have more coverage here.
