Waterboarding Thrill Ride Hits Coney Island

Coney Island, home to the Cyclone roller coaster, Keyspan Park where the Mets farm team plays, the Wonder Wheel, and the Parachute Jump, is now home to a new feature.

This one is a wee bit more controversial than all the rest. In fact, it's a whole different kind of attraction: for a fee, you can witness animatronic figures depicting a waterboarding session.

I don't see the controversy here.

After all, leftists and anti-US activists routinely depict these scenes by reenacting them in public using real live participants (see here, here, and here.

Coney Island also happens to be home to a side show, where you can witness all manner of oddities, including sword swallowers.
