Breaking: Man Arrested For Making Assassination Threats Against Obama

The Secret Service and law enforcement isn't taking chances. You make threats against the President, the candidates, or high level officials and you're going to get arrested:
A man is being held in Florida by federal authorities on charges of threatening to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Raymond Hunter Geisel was ordered held without bail Thursday at a brief court hearing.

The Secret Service says Geisel made the threat during a training class for bail bondsmen in Miami in late July. Another tipster said Geisel also threatened President Bush.

A search of Geisel's SUV and hotel room uncovered a loaded handgun, knives, dozens of rounds of ammunition, body armor and a machete. The SUV was wired with emergency lights.
Geisel should expect to see the book thrown at him.

UPDATE:
Ace points out that Bob Owens found that CNN edited the AP wire report eliminating references to the fact that Geisel has made threats against President Bush as well. CNN conveniently underplayed that salient point. Nice. This guy was an equal opportunity threat, but the media wants to portray him as a right wing wacko.

Stay classy media.
