Lunar Eclipse

 


That's a photo taken a short time ago of the lunar eclipse as it was heading to totality. It was taken with a Rebel XTi with a Sigma 28-300mm 3.5-6.3 lens at 300mm. It's a tightly cropped image, and it still wasn't nearly as crisp as I hoped for but there were some haze so that might have played a role. I had it set up on a tripod to steady the camera as much as possible.

Any pointers for improving future shots would be much appreciated.
