Obama To Surrender Before Becoming President

"I am here to say that we have to begin to end this war now," the Illinois senator said in excerpts from a speech he was to deliver later in Iowa. The excerpts were released by his presidential campaign.

He said he would immediately begin to pull out troops engaged in combat operations at a pace of one or two brigades every month, to be completed by the end of 2008.

Wait, am I missing something? When is the 2008 election? November, 2008? When is the new President sworn in? JANUARY, 2009!!! So, Barack Hussein Obama would start pulling out troops BEFORE BECOMING COMMANDER IN CHIEF!!! This is pandering to the utmost degree. And it is sad that the news articles reporting the speech don't question the facts. Shouldn't a Presidential candidate know when his job starts? In fact, Barack Hussein Obama doesn't care when he pulls out troops. He just wants to show that he is taking a stand for the democratic fateful. He doesn't care if his speeches make sense or if they are grounded in reality. It wasn't more than a few weeks ago that he said he would attack Pakistan.
