Iran admits that it carried out the death sentence on a man convicted of adultery.
The sentence was death by stoning. For men, this means, the person is buried up to their waist and then repeatedly stoned until dead. For women, they are buried up to their necks and then stoned until dead. The woman involved in the same case awaits the same fate.
This is barbarism at its worst.
The UN actually issued a prompt statement slamming Iran for the barbaric act.
