Saddam Cannot Escape His Destiny

Saddam Hussein was hanged by the Iraqis shortly before 6:00AM local time in Baghdad.

Good riddance.

I don't think there's much to add on the subject of his execution other than it was richly deserved.

CBS News broke in with the news, while the other networks have not broken into their programming with the news. Interesting. NBC and ABC are still in their regular programming.

UPDATE:
Drudge reports that NBC actually broken in first and CBS reported second followed by ABC.
