Spies Like Us

Baldilocks notes the following:
This situation is most definitely President Bush’s fault. He keeps doing a certain something over and over again and it keeps biting him--and us--in the butt. It should by obvious by now that all personnel leftover from the previous administration merit serious scrutiny—down to the cooks in the White House kitchen. (See above example, Richard Clarke.)
That's certainly worth a further look. Each time that Bush permitted individuals to carry over from the prior Administration, bad things happened. It was either scandal or massive intel failures leading to 9/11. The CIA was a cluster$@^& under George Tenet, and yet he was allowed to continue in that capacity until earlier this year when Porter Goss took over.
