It was militant Islamic terrorists. Who knew. What a surprise.
At least 23 people were murdered and over 100 injured by multiple suicide bombers at restaurants along the beach. The terrorists think that if they can get the tourists to stay away, they would be able to influence government policy.
Here's hoping that the government takes a response that the terrorists wouldn't be expecting - a total clampdown on the group's actions and getting convictions and prison sentences commeasurate with the crimes. If someone commits mass murder, anything less than life without parole is a joke. Ditto for conspiracy to commit mass murder.
