Aerial Imagery of Disaster

The NOAA has assembled more than 350 images of the disaster area, and the damage is just stunning. These are large file sizes so they might take time to download on slower connections.

Little Green Footballs posts an image of what used to be bridges.

Overheads of Slidell, Louisiana.

Northeast Mobile Bay.

Kiln, Mississippi.

Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

Lake Borgne, Mississippi, which lay directly on the path that Katrina took.

Bastian Bay, Louisiana which was where Katrina's eye made first landfall.

UPDATE:
The AP has a map of New Orleans that lets you zoom in on specific areas, shows overlays of where levees stand and flooding has occurred.
