Supermodels Behaving Badly

Supermodel Estella Warren, who has appeared in movies like the remake of the Planet of the Apes, was arrested in Los Angeles on suspected DUI charges after the car she was driving struck three parked cars:

The crazy incident occurred Monday night just before midnight. Cops say Warren was driving in L.A. when she struck 3 parked cars in her Toyota Prius. Warren drove away but cops spotted her and placed her under arrest for driving under the influence, though not before she resisted and kicked an officer.


Warren was taken to the police station in handcuffs, and during the booking process she managed to get out of her handcuffs and then run out the back door! Warren was quickly recaptured.

Warren is being booked for felony escape. We're told she will also be booked for assault, hit and run and DUI.

However bad that was, her situation is now a whole lot worse since she attempted to escape by slipping out of her handcuffs and attempting to flee the station.

Bail is set at $100,000, which means that her stay in lockup will be quite short pending trial.Those charges are quite serious and she wont be so lucky to avoid at least some time in jail.

Israeli Magazine Rates Top Israeli Models

An Israeli news outlet, Israel21c, has rated the country's top models, and there are quite a few stunners on the list, including Esti Ginzburg, Bar Refaeli and Gal Gadot who have graced the pages of this blog. As a reminder:

Once again, these women show that they've got what it takes to compete with the best models in the world and that Israel is known for more than just the ongoing war with the Palestinians or being a tech giant. They're a well rounded (and endowed) country. 

Brazilian Models Have Stiff Competition From Israelis

Sure, everyone knows that Brazilian supermodels dominate the swimsuit model industry, but Israeli model Donna Feldman thinks her native country is ready to give the South American hotspot a run for its money.

"Every time I visit my family in Israel I am blown away by how beautiful the women are. The beach in Tel Aviv is filled with tan, curvy, all-natural exotic women," Feldman quipped. "Instead of a single man vacationing on the beach in Brazil, Israel is definitely another option to consider."

But as the saying goes, you can’t please everyone - and while Feldman was totally flattered to be featured alongside Bar Refaeli in the Brett Ratner-directed "Ladies of ‘69" calendar for Heeb Magazine, to mark the year 5769, a bit of bare skin comes with a few wicked words.

"There is so much hatred in the world nothing surprises me. I received tons of fan mail and my family was very proud, but hate mail [as well]." Feldman told Tarts in our exclusive interview. "If I felt offended in any way, I would have never done the project. But I was raised in a completely open minded family with an amazing sense of humor."

So with beauties such as Feldman, Bar Refaeli, Natalie Portman and "Weeds" starlet Meital Dohan flying the flag for Israel, is it possible that it is taking over from Brazil when it comes to being the most bikinilicious?

As I can attest from my own experiences in Israel, Israeli women certainly can handle the competition from anywhere else in the world. I'd throw in Gal Gadot and Esti Ginzberg as well.



Besides, Israeli women know how to handle their firearms.

Maxim and the Women of the IDF

For those who defend Israel against all her enemies, we salute you. This is part of Maxim's ad campaign on behalf of Israel to show that it is not all about war and violence. There's a softer side to Israel. One that cannot be denied for its stunning beauty and intoxicating delightfulness.

Israel needs its women to be prepared to defend the country against terrorists and invasion because history has shown that Israel's neighbors have repeatedly sworn to destroy Israel.

Hamas and Fatah are dedicated to Israel's destruction, and I'm sure that if those two terrorist groups ceased to exist, these Israeli women would much prefer not to have to engage in basic training and service in the military. Alas, that is wishful thinking as the likes of Iran continues to threaten Israel with destruction and other nations in the region use proxy forces to undermine Israel's security.

That's Gal Gadot, the Israeli beauty on the red carpet for the Maxim hosted event for the Israeli consulate in New York City.

She's Kosher Alright

I reported yesterday that the outrage over Gal Gadot's posing for an ad campaign that included an event at the Israeli Consulate in New York City last night was overblown.

Still, Gadot felt that she had to come forward and issue a statement:

The stunning former Miss Israel and model, Gal Gadot, said she is proud of her sexy photograph - part of a new tourism campaign touted by the Israeli Consulate that show cases a host of scantily clad Hebrew hotties.

"Obviously, I don't think it's pornographic, or I wouldn't have done it," said Gadot, 22, who's starting law school in the fall.

She added, "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Israel is a democracy and that's what it's all about."

Her picture appeared on an official invitation sent out by the consulate in New York. It touched off an uproar in Israel, where several female politicians denounced it as the wrong way to promote the Jewish state.

The invite was for a Maxim magazine party last night at Chelsea hotspot Marquee to hype its July issue showcasing "Women of the Israeli Defense Forces."

"I'm not involved in politics," said the 5-foot-9 beauty. "I leave that to the politicians."

Israeli Consul-General Arye Mekel tried to diffuse the situation.

"This is the first time we used the word 'shoot' in connection to Israel and we're not talking about killing people," Mekel quipped about the photo shoot.
