New Jersey Diner Tour

Don't take my word for it when I say that White Manna in Hackensack has some of the best burgers anywhere in New Jersey. It's an institution, and for good reason. Just ask Guy Fieri:

If burgers wont satisfy your craving, head over to Clifton, New Jersey and check out the Tick Tock Diner. It's a classic diner, and it has all the standards and then some:

While it doesn't get all the headlines of the Tick Tock or some of the other diners that made it into Guy's New Jersey diner tour, Matthew's Colonial Diner in Waldwick is lauded and has won accolades, including best of Bergen County last year.

Now, if you're in Southern New Jersey, you can't miss Matsoris in Bordentown. It's an institution and has some of the best desserts anywhere. Everything is freshly baked on premises, and the oversized sandwiches can feed an army.

NJ Monthly also rates the Summit Diner highly, although I haven't been there.
