Two US Navy Ships Collide in Strait of Hormuz

This is a developing situation, but two US Navy ships, the USS Hartford (a submarine), collided with the USS New Orleans in the tight quarters of the Strait of Hormuz. 15 sailors on the Hartford suffered minor injuries and no injuries were reported on the New Orleans. Both ships are able to sail under their own power, but an oil slick was reported as a result of damage to an oil tank on board the New Orleans.

Here are the specs on the submarine Hartford and the amphibious warship New Orleans (LPD-18).
