Al Qaeda's #4 Terrorist Dies Of Heartbreak Over Not Knowing Outcome of US Elections and Hellfire Missiles, But Mostly Hellfire Missiles

The US reaches out and touches yet another major terrorist thug inside Pakistan. There's a reason that the US airstrikes continue unabated and aren't raising many eyebrows. They are getting results. Big fish.

This is a real big fish.
The official says the U.S. now has evidence that Khalid Habib was killed in an unmanned air strike two weeks ago in the South Waziristan region of Pakistan. Until now, there had been no official confirmation of reports of Habib's death from local militants in the area.

"He was the person responsible for planning and organizing attacks in the Pakistan and overseas, including the U.S.," the senior official said. "This was a really big deal that has not received much attention."

Considered the number four leader of al Qaeda, Habib was a long-time associate close to both Osama bin Laden and Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri.
The US has been rolling up the networks in Pakistan and Iraq for the past several years, and a more aggressive stance on taking airstrikes to Taliban infested areas along the Pakistani border with Afghanistan has been bearing fruit, and the rewards of conducting these strikes now outweighs the risks of carrying them out and undermining the Pakistani government.

The US continues attacking targets inside Warizistan, including another strike today that may have taken out another major player in al Qaeda. The Pakistani intel services claim that the strike took out Abu Kasha, but the intel services have a dubious reliability on such claims.
