Which Way Is Wind Blowing At New York Times

This is the second time in a week that the New York Times has reported on the situation in upstate New York and the wind power projects that have torn apart families and towns. The latest story reports on the possibility that Attorney General Andrew Cuomo will investigate the wind power companies for evidence of corruption and intimidation of public officials into approving wind power sites.

It's a curious situation. The Times consistently pounds the drumbeat of global warming, greenhouse gases, and the need to find alternative energy, and yet here they are decrying what wind power is doing to towns throughout upstate New York based on anecdotal evidence.

You'd almost think that the Times was opposed to wind power from the look of it.
