I went into the City with Mrs. Lawhawk to meet up with some college friends. We walked all over Lower Manhattan and it was a gloriously beautiful day. We figured that we could check out the waterfall installation along the East River. There are four waterfalls in all, with one located beyond the Manhattan Bridge, one located under the Brooklyn Bridge on the Brooklyn side, one located along the Brooklyn waterfront below the Brooklyn promenade, and a fourth one graces Governor's Island.
Consider me underwhelmed.
The waterfall beneath the bridge looks like the bridge is taking a leak. I consider it more humorous than artistic. There were plenty of people out, but I don't think it was more than usual on a sunny summer day.
