Broken Promises

It didn't take long did it. Hamas and Israel are supposedly involved in a truce in Gaza, and Hamas has even said that they would act as thought the truce was extended to the West Bank.

How much do you want to bet that this attack in the West Bank that injured two Israelis will not count towards the truce breaking.

Palestinian gunmen opened fire on two Israeli hikers not far from Ramallah.
Two Israeli hikers were wounded Friday in a terror attack in the Binyamin region, northwest of Ramallah.

According to initial reports, a group of four or five hikers was shot at by Palestinian terrorists in a passing vehicle.

The two casualties, who were hit in the upper body, were treated at the scene by a medic, who was apparently one of the hikers.

The hikers alerted rescue and security services who were on their way to the location.

MDA reported that one of the casualties was seriously wounded and the other was in moderate condition, stressing that both were fully conscious.
This report notes three injured in the attack. And Hamas has reported that it will act as though there's a West Bank truce. Right. Stop laughing. I'm serious. They actually said this before the latest terrorist attack by Palestinian gunmen in the West Bank.

Will they claim that this attack was launched by some faction beyond their control? I'm pretty sure that's exactly what they'll do. They'll blame Fatah or another faction to claim that they're undermining the process, even though they fully condone such activities.

And this statement by one of the Hamas thugs tells you all you need to know. The truce is nothing but a sham - a hudna to give the terrorist group a chance to regroup and rearm. Israel and the rest of the world gave it to them, and Israel will suffer more for it.

UPDATE:
Hamas says that they'll continue smuggling in the weapons, equipment, and personnel to fight the war against Israel regardless of the hudna. No kidding. I warned you.
