One of the many logs of petrified wood to be found within Petrified Forest National Park. Taken April 2008. This one caught my eye because it was one of the larger pieces and I liked the composition with the hills in the background. It probably could have been a stronger composition if I had better light, but with limited time, that simply wasn't possible.
