New Clashes in Gaza

New clashes in Gaza? Four are dead as Hamas and Fatah goons slug it out in gunfights. The media report claims that this had nothing to do with the factional fighting.
Four Palestinians were killed in clashes between rival clans in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, hospital officials said, in the most intense violence since a coalition deal was reached this month between Fatah and Hamas.

A Palestinian, who belonged to the Islamist Hamas movement, was shot and killed by gunmen from a rival clan as part of a family feud in the early hours of Saturday. Hamas said the man killed was a local commander of its armed wing.

The killing triggered a clash in which a member of the other clan and a female relative, both Fatah supporters, died.

A bystander was also killed in the fighting, which wounded 18 other people nearby. Both families said the fighting was a domestic dispute and not caused by political rivalries.
Right. Sure. In separate clashes, Palestinian gunmen fired on Israeli soldiers in Nablus using the cover of rock throwers. Israeli soldiers fired rubber bullets, hitting three of the rock throwers. In a separate incident, a bomb factory was discovered by the IDF.

Yet, British Prime Minister Blair thinks that he can find sensible Hamas members who will make peace with Israel? Yeah, ones that aren't entirely genocidal in their need to destroy Israel. That'll work.

Hamas' charter
demands the destruction of Israel. Hamas considers the destruction of Israel to be a religious obligation under the precepts of Islam. You're not going to get anyone to change their religious views. Blair's comments do not take into account this very basic fact.
