What does the Israeli government think will come of their permission to send arms shipments to Fatah? Those weapons will just as easily be turned on Israelis as it would on Hamas thugs.
No deed goes unpunished, and this is no exception.
Meanwhile, Haniyeh says that Gilad Shalit will be released soon. I'll believe it when I see Gilad back in the arms of his father. Until then, I wouldn't trust what Haniyeh or Abbas have to say on the matter. Is it possible that Haniyeh is timing news on Shalit to the fact that Fatah just got a weapons resupply?
Pajamas Media (which notes that Santa Claus arrived for the terrorists after all) details what the Palestinians got: at least 2,000 AK-47 rifles, 20,000 magazines and two million rounds of ammunition. Nice. You could do a lot of damage with that.
Jihad Watch also takes note of the weapons deal.
I have a bad feeling about this.
