Iceberg... Dead Ahead

The rats know that Bashar Assad is in deep trouble, which helps explain why they're all jumping ship. Bashar and his cronies were all over the Rafik Harari assassination and that resulted in Syria being caught for all the world to see.
Asked if he thought that the Syrian president was directly responsible for al-Hariri's killing in Beirut last February, Khaddam told Britain's Sky News on Thursday: "In my belief, yes, my personal belief is that he ordered it. But at the end of the day there is an investigation. They must give the final decision."
Syria's only hope is that the world becomes preoccupied by that other international pariah, Iran, and loses focus on what Syria did.
