You First

Saddam Hussein shouted Tuesday that he will not return “to an unjust court” when it convenes for a fifth session the following day. As the end of the session, when the judges decided to resume the trial Wednesday, Saddam suddenly shouted: “I will not return. I will not come to an unjust court! Go to hell!”
You first, you rat bastard. You're getting three squares a day, which is a hell of a lot more than most of your victims ever got while you were in charge of the torture chambers, the killing fields, and the mass graves that litter the Iraqi landscape.

The fact is that Saddam can't deal with the fact that he isn't in charge, and that he's trying to bully and assert power in court. And there isn't any power there.

Saddam will be back in court, regardless of what he says. He isn't the one in charge. We're witnessing the deconstruction of a dictator and the founding of the Iraqi legal system based on the rule of law. That's a good thing.

Say Uncle has more.

UPDATE:
What good is a dictator on the docket if you can't make fun of him? Confederate Yankee has the details. Also noting Saddam in the docket: Bard's Eye View who gets Shakespearean.
