United Nations No Better Off After Ted Turner's Intervention

Well, not quite true. But not quite wrong either. The UN still is as corrupt and ineffective as ever, but even Ted Turner's billions can't fix that problem.

On the other hand, Turner has no problem making the asinine statement that Iraq is no better off now than when Saddam was in charge. Methinks Turner has spent way too much time with Barbaralla looking for Duran Duran to know that getting rid of a tyrannical despot who killed hundreds of thousands of people is a good thing, regardless of the problems that the country still faces.

He's also worried about nuclear weapons and wants the Russians and US to give up their weapons. No word about whether he wants Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, China, or India to give up their nukes.
