Dafur: His Camera Was Not Enough

The US Holocaust Museum is hosting this series of very powerful images of the genocide in Dafur, Sudan. This would be the same genocide that the UN doesn't want to recognize, the Europeans can't be bothered with, and only a meager group of Africans are trying to stem the humanitarian disaster. In fact, we've got Rwandans peacekeepers working with the African Union and US logistical support trying to help survivors. How's that for irony.

Words aren't sufficient to convey the horrors. So, check out the link and see for yourself what empty words and strongly worded condemnations at the UN have accomplished.

A larger body count.
