Naji Antoine Abi Khalil was caught in an FBI sting operation in May 2004 when he tried to pick up the goggles and infrared rifle-aiming devices at a West 44th Street storage facility, the Manhattan U.S. attorney's office said.

He pleaded guilty to the charges and faces up to 30 years in prison.
