Tube Troubles

The BBC and other news outlets are reporting that there have been evacuations from the London Tube. Three stations were evacuated and at least one station was seen to have smoke coming from its entrance, though those reports too are unconfirmed.

Also, there are unconfirmed reports of a small explosion in a backpack that may have been related to this. No reports of injuries thus far.

We may be seeing the works of pranksters or copycats, but this is deadly business. Even if a dummy explosion is set off and causes a smoke condition, people could panic and injure themselves or others in the rush to escape what they think is a dangerous situation.

UPDATE:
Discarded Lies, Wizbang, and Michelle Malkin have lots more. London got lucky again - no reports of serious casualties but the details are evolving quickly.
