Pro Syrians March On US Embassy in Beirut

About 2,000 pro-Syria demonstrators denouncing what they said was American interference in Lebanon marched toward the U.S. Embassy in a Beirut suburb Tuesday, and scores of riot police and soldiers used barbed wire to block the approaches to the compound.

The protesters, waving Lebanese flags and chanting, "Ambassador get out! Leave my country free!" stopped at the barbed wire blocking the road about 500 yards from the fortified hilltop compound. The crowd did not try to break through.
These 2,000 protestors are agitators working at the behest of Syria and/or Hizbullah. This is anything but a spontaneous demonstration for Lebanese freedom. To the Syrians living in Lebanon, pushing the Syrian military and intelligence services out means that the Syrians lose their cash-cow and things get more unstable at home. So, they'll try to convince folks that the demonstrations are the work of the outsider US - even though it's outsiders from Syria who are running the country in the first place.

The hypocrisy among the pro-Syrians is delicious.
