On My Nightstand: Start Up Nation

When many people think of nations that are known for their innovation and technological prowess, one first thinks of the United States. Yet, one country has done so much with so little and under such extreme conditions that it makes for an unlikely success story and one that deserves much closer scrutiny.

Start Up Nation by Dan Senor and Saul Singer looks at the success of Israel to cultivate a start-up culture that has turned it into the world's incubator of new technologies.
