We’ve always banned truthers at RedState. Increasingly, we have also banned a number of individuals who think Barack Obama is disqualified from being President because despite the Republican Governor of Hawaii confirming the legitimacy of the Democratic President’s birth origin as a citizen of the United States these birthers (”birfers” because it sounds as crazy as they are) refuse to move on.They should never have been accepted there in the first place. End of story. Crackpots do not need a wider forum in which to spread their malicious lies and conspiracies. Moreover, the Tea Party movement is also thoroughly infested with conspiracy theorists and whatever positive actions may come from a grassroots outpouring of anger over excessive government spending is tarnished by the fact that those running the movement are pushing various conspiracy theories, and are busy cavorting with conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones.
Today I want to reaffirm and make it more definitive. If you think 9/11 was an inside job or you really want to debate whether or not Barack Obama is an American citizen eligible to be President, RedState is not a place for you.
Birfers and Truthers are not welcome here. Period. End of Story.
A blog for all seasons; A blog for one; A blog for all. As the 11th most informative blog on the planet, I have a seared memory of throwing my Time 2006 Man of the Year Award over the railing at Time Warner Center. Justice. Only Justice Shall Thou Pursue

Better Late Than Never
Redstate, which is one of the largest right-leaning websites online and has a large blogging community, is finally getting serious about cracking down on the crackpots that infest the site.
