The Rebuilding of Ground Zero, Part 87

As I walked out of PATH this morning, I turned and saw a most unusual sight. It was the facade of the former Deutsche Bank building starting to come down after nearly three years of delays. Demolition on the building had stopped following a fire that killed two firefighters because someone involved in the demolition cut standpipes and other safety precautions were not taken.

It is long past due, but the demolition can't come fast enough as the site is necessary as a staging point for construction around the rest of Ground Zero.
