Coast Guard Video Shows US Airways Flight Crashing

2 minutes into the video, you'll see the plane crashing down from the left of the video.

The video then focuses in on the passengers racing to exit the plane and standing on the wings awaiting rescue.

That video may hold additional clues as to what happened to the engines that fell off the plane, both by marking where investigators should be looking and how magnificently the pilot, Capt. Sullenberger landed the plane. The plane appears to have skidded around so that it was perpendicular to the River, which could explain why the engines may have sheared off. Prior videos show that the engines were still attached as the plane was lining up with the Hudson River for the water landing.

The crash remains under investigation, and recovering the engines will be a key part of the investigation to see whether it was indeed bird strikes that caused both engines to lose power.

UPDATE:
The NTSB is working on a plan to hoist the plane out of the Hudson River. It's currently moored at Battery Park City and a crane is on hand to lift the plane. The trick is to do so safely and to keep the plane intact. Crews are still looking for the engines which dropped off. Here's a live FoxNews feed of the ongoing work to lift the plane out.
