Palestinians: We Wont Tolerate Judiazation of Jersualem

"The Palestinian Authority will not negotiate, and will not sign any agreement with Israel that does not include Jerusalem," said lead negotiator Ahmed Qureia this week.

Palestinian news agency Maan quoted Qureia as saying the above during a meeting with the leader of the Islamic Movement in northern Israel, Sheikh Raed Salah. The controversial sheikh provided Qureia at the meeting with a number of Israeli documents and maps he alleges contain proof of Israel's plans for Judaizing the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount by establishing synagogues along the perimeter of the Western Wall.

...

"The Palestinian leadership is determined not to negotiate or agree to anything with the Israeli side without Jerusalem, the reason for putting off this discussion is so that Israel can go forward with its plans to Judaize the holy city, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular," Qureia is quoted as saying.
Memo to the Palestinians. Jews have considered Jerusalem the holiest spot on the planet for more than 3,000 years. They've lived there nearly interrupted for 3,000 years. The Arabs sent all those Jews living in East Jerusalem, including the Jewish Quarter of the Old City packing following the 1948 Israeli War for Independence. Jews were only allowed to return to East Jerusalem and visit the Western Wall and the Kotel in 1967 when they liberated and united Jerusalem.

Jews have written extensively on our desires and hopes to be in Jersualem next year. It's part of our Passover prayers. It's part and parcel of what we hope and dream to accomplish. They're hoping to redivide Jerusalem and are more than willing to invent controversies and claims to that end.

The Palestinians latest demands on Israel is to partition Jerusalem. They will accept nothing less, and anything that the lame duck Olmert or Livni promise will be carried over to the new government, despite the fact that most Israelis would never tolerate redividing Jerusalem. No matter what concessions Israel makes, they will never be enough.

What the Palestinians demand is nothing less than the Judenrein (ethnic cleansing) of Jerusalem, because they simply cannot tolerate anyone who isn't Muslim in their midst. All you have to do is see what the Islamists have done in Bethlehem to see how tolerant the Islamists are of all those who do not believe as they do.
