So, Does This Mean Charles Rangel Is Unpatriotic?

Sen. Barack Obama's running mate, Sen. Joe Biden has such a way with words. He's a walking gaffe-machine.

His latest?

He thinks paying more taxes is patriotic.

"We want to take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people," Biden said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Noting that wealthier Americans would indeed pay more, Biden said: "It's time to be patriotic ... time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut."

Well, what exactly does that suggest about Rep. Charles Rangel? Does that mean that Rangel is unpatriotic by not paying his taxes and engaging in tax evasion at every turn?

On its face, Biden is engaging in nothing more than communist/socialist redistribution of wealth. Taking from the haves and watching the government increase its revenues while capital and money for investment gets sucked out of the marketplace.
