Obama Flips Again

Sen. Barack Obama, whose previous position on the Democratic primary debacle in Florida and Michigan was to push that the DNC rules be followed - not seating those delegations, has reversed his position.

Actually, he's flipped. And it's for the most ordinary of reasons - he needs their votes and wants to make nice with the Florida and Michigan delegations at a time when polling indicates that whatever advantages he's had over Sen. John McCain have evaporated.

The DNC convention in Denver is all but guaranteed of being a circus because of the Florida and Michigan mess, and if the Democrats reverse their decision on Florida and Michigan, it will be yet another sign that the Democrats care nothing for the rules, not even the ones that govern their own party's conduct.
