The Commercial San Francisco Didn't Want Shot

The United States Marine Corps wanted to create a new commercial for the Corps, and asked San Francisco permission to do so. San Francisco wouldn't let the Corps Silent Drill Team do their magic on city streets. The Marines improvised and got their shots of the Golden Gate Bridge from National Park Service facilities instead.

They had no such problem in New York City, as they were able to perform in Times Square and then all through the country.
