Where the lack of a single policy accomplishment or genuine stance on any issue will not derail the Edwards campaign, rumors of this might? How screwed up is politics when a possible love child and extramarital relationship might can a presidential campaign while the same candidate's failure to provide a single accomplishment as a politician is ignored?
If this story pans out, it will bring much woe to the Edwards family. Even if it doesn't, I feel sorry for Elizabeth Edwards, who has gone above and beyond what many in her position would do given her medical condition and the rigors of campaigning and has to deal with the mudslinging and attacks on her family.
