Serious Fire At Executive Office Building

News outlets are reporting a serious fire at the Executive Office Building in Washington, DC. The fire is centered on an area near Vice President Dick Cheney's office. The entire building has been evacuated.

Needless to say, the leftists and kooks will have fun with conspriacy theories over the fire and whether it was done to destroy evidence of misdeeds.

It wont take long before they're making the rounds at Daily Kos or the other leftist haunts.

The fire was apparently started by an electrical fault:

The blaze appeared to be located near the ceremonial office of Vice President Dick Cheney on the second floor of the building. The vice president was across the street in his office in the West Wing of the White House.

Secret Service spokesman Darrin Blackford said the Old Executive Office building was evacuated as a precaution. District of Columbia firefighters poured water on the blaze and moved furniture from the building onto a balcony.

It's also being reported by Drudge that the Secret Service is preventing investigators from entering the scene.
