A Hornet's Nest

Ron Paul is the fringe Republican candidate that seems to get a ton of press for his ability to raise large sums of money from online, yet his relations with some unsavory types doesn't get nearly the amount of press that it should.

Would you want to be associated with a neo-Nazi leader whose website pushes white nationalism and hate speech?

via Charles Johnson at LGF.comThat's what Ron Paul does. He's got no problem hanging with the likes of Don Black and his son, both of whom run Stormfront, a white nationalist group that has called for a race war in the past, and which regularly runs anti-Semitic pieces, Holocaust revisionism, and smears against minorities. They might have tried cleaning up their act of late, but they're still racist to the core.

This is who Ron Paul courts?

Sorry, but the GOP ought to do the right thing and be sure to tell Ron Paul to take a flying leap. Giving Paul any legitimacy would actually be providing Stormfront and other fringe groups access they neither deserve nor should have.

The fact that Paul is in the same orbit as Don Black and the Stormfronters is more than a sufficient reason to step away from that busted ass vehicle and suggest that the GOP tell Paul to go stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

Stormfront has posted some of the most vile anti-Semitic crap you could ever come across, and Black has tried to push Stormfront into the mainstream by doing much the same thing that VB has done overseas - claiming to renounce the former calls to violence, etc., even as he's busy pushing the claim that a race war is brewing.

This is far from Paul's only faults, as he also runs in the same circles as Alex Jones, a conspiracy theorist who has no problem blaming the US government for the attacks and a massive coverup.

Paul supporters don't want to hear or see this kind of thing, so I fully expect to get my comments crammed with their spewage. The photographic evidence is tough to ignore, as is the history of Stormfront and their links to other neo-Nazi and racist groups in the United States.

UPDATE:
So, who's attracted to Ron Paul? Disaffected leftists and racists who saw their influence among Democrats get them nowhere in trying to end the war in Iraq. They've gravitated to Paul, because he too promises to end the war, but with a twist:
I'd like to add my opinion to help you better understand why the White Nationalists support Ron Paul. The Ron Paul campaign and the White Nationalist movement finds common ground on a number of issues. These include:
1. The war in Iraq. The White Nationalist's believe we are fighting a war for Israel and the Jews, they want our troops out immediately.
2. War propaganda against Iran. The White Nationalist movement favors Iran, as again they believe Israel is looking for war.
3. Border security. They believe Ron Paul has the best solution to stopping another 20 million illegals Mexicans from crossing over. That is achieved by bringing the troops home from the 140+ countries that America has them stationed in so that they may defend our sovereignty.
4. The North American Union. A pivotal point in this campaign, they view this as the 'doomsday' - the point of no return for a white America.
5. Foreign policy. The White Nationalists believe that things are so bad in America on a racial scale and a social/political/economic/cultural scale, that we should be fixing our problems at home first rather then nation building.
6. The media. Both the Ron Paul campaign and the White Nationalist movement have come up against the tyranny of the media. The White Nationalists believe that the media is controlled by Zionists, which has other agendas at heart then Americas.
