Hillary Clinton's problems from the last debate continue to roil just under the surface. It's come across on Drudge that her campaign has warned Wolf Blitzer not to engage in Russert-like attacks against Hillary.
Are you kidding me? Russert asked a very simple question.
Does Hillary support or reject the Spitzer plan to give illegal aliens drivers licenses in New York State. She couldn't give a straight answer, and was on the record as having supported Spitzer. She turned around and claimed that such treatment was an attack.
Yes, it was an attack.
It was an assault on our collective intelligence.
Clinton supports giving illegal aliens drivers licenses. She's made that clear.
She's also made it abundantly clear that she doesn't tolerate anyone fact-checking her current statements against her past statements. She's essentially drawing the terms for the next debate, and if Blitzer were truly an honest journalist, he'd open matters with questions to all the candidates about the illegal alien drivers license scheme. It's clearly an issue worth asking - and Spitzer himself is revisiting the whole plan (now on the third iteration but quite possible DOA because the NYS DMV itself is against the plan as are many Democrats).
Throw in a potted plant here and there, and Clinton comes off looking real bad.
It looks like she can't take any criticism, and has a very thin skin. Those are not qualities that someone looking to become President should have.
