Iranian Vice

Iran once again shows its true intentions. They once again call for the execution of homosexuals if outed.
Homosexuals deserve to be executed or tortured and possibly both, an Iranian leader told British MPs during a private meeting at a peace conference, The Times has learned.

Mohsen Yahyavi is the highest-ranked politician to admit that Iran believes in the death penalty for homosexuality after a spate of reports that gay youths were being hanged.
That's on the heels of reports stating that the Supremely evil Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is openly backing Iran's crackdown on vices and that is going to be harsher than before.
Iranian newspapers have printed a list of moral vices that the police are targeting, including wearing make-up and hats instead of headscarves.

The police say they will also suppress "decadent" films, drugs and alcohol.

This year has seen one of the most ferocious crackdowns on un-Islamic behaviour and improper Islamic dress by the authorities for at least a decade.

But it has now emerged the current campaign has the overt backing of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The police are warning they will deal seriously with any women who dare to wear short trousers, skimpy overcoats or skirts that are revealingly transparent or have slits in them.
These are moves that are designed to push women out of the streets and modernity and into the hijab, burka, and out of public sight.

By "dealing seriously" they mean beating the women they find to a bloody pulp with a warning that the next time they'll kill those who do not obey.

This is a regime that still engages in public stonings for adultery. It's a regime that is seeking to hold on to power by all means necessary - even limiting what activities the Iranians can engage in. That includes "decadent" films.

I wonder whether Michael Moore's films are on the approved list.
