Sheehan's Spectacle and Other Media Madness

Well, Cindy Sheehan is back in the news because she disrupted a Democrat press conference with a bunch of her anti-war buddies and took over the podium. They disrupted the Democrats presser on where the Democrats priorities are as the session gets underway.

Meanwhile, this guy is just as nutty - just at the other end of the political spectrum.

In a statement on his website, Hal Turner noted that a newspaper has reported that a bill granting amnesty to illegal aliens is expected to be enacted in January, when the Democratic Party takes control of the U.S. Senate and House.

“ANY MEMBER OF CONGRESS WHO INTRODUCES, CO-SPONSORS OR VOTES IN FAVOR OF ANY SUCH AMNESTY WILL BE DECLARED A DOMESTIC ENEMY AND WILL BE CONSIDERED A LEGITIMATE TARGET FOR ASSASSINATION,” Turner posted on his website.

I hope that the US Secret Service pays Turner a visit. I don't see that as anything other than a threat against politicians who do not vote or behave the way he sees fit. Others might take Turner's words to heart, and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he's been pulled from the radio as a result. Dumbass doesn't begin to cover it. Free speech gives you the right to remove all doubt as to your lack of intellect. Turner accomplished that feat pretty easily.
