Photo of the Day

Bryce Canyon National Park, (c) Lawhawk 2006
Bryce Canyon National Park, taken August 2006. As impressive as the views were during the day, the nighttime sky was even more amazing. Bryce has one of the darkest skies in the Lower 48 and you can see millions and millions of stars with the greatest of ease. The entire Milky Way unfolds and crosses the sky as you watch - completely mesmerized by the sights that you can't see back East.
