Bill Roggio notes that Gulbuddin Hikmatyar, who was reportedly captured yesterday, is still at large. The reports of his capture involve a case of mistaken identity as the individual who was captured is apparently a dead ringer for Hikmatyar, and it took fingerprinting to discover the true identity.
Yet, authorities believe the individual who was captured is a high level commander in Hezb-i-Islami. That's still a positive development that might lead to additional captures and active intel that can translate into further positive developments.
My earlier post on Hikmatyar's capture is here and have added a link to this post.
