As I previously reported, questions over the accuracy of the sequence of events in Qana have surfaced on the blogshpere. Who knew how right us bloggers were? As reported by Newsbusters and Little Green Footballs, the man now known throughout the internet as "Green Helmet" is actually seen directing the photo crews.
Israel is facing two wars. One on the battlefield, and one as important, the battle for the media. Hezbollah is proving to be a master of the media. The mainstream media has proven lazy and willing to accept propaganda as truth. The real question is why? Why is the media so quick to accept Hezbollah propaganda as truth? The answer must go deeper than anti-Israel, or anti-Bush bias. It must go deeper than laziness. So whats the answer? If you know, please comment.
What I do know, is that if the media continues to post fake and staged pictures, and to report propaganda as fact, the media will loose its credibility. The media will no longer be a reliable source for news and information. Once that happens, where does that leave us? Very bad slippery slope the media has started upon!
