If reading the Hamas charter doesn't send shivers down your spine, perhaps reading through their extensive body count (since September 2000 alone) will give an idea of just what Hamas is all about.
UPDATE:
Discarded Lies picked up a story from the Jersualem Post that Hamas is demanding that Israel change its flag - they want the two blue stripes that flank the Star of David removed because it signifies the occupation of lands that the Arabs want for themselves. But not just any land - the lands between the Nile and the Euphrates Rivers.
They've got a whole lot of nerve, but that's not all - Hamas is trying to impose Shari'a - and the locals are none to thrilled about that either. (HT: LGF)
